My Ghost-Reaper Wife

Between the worlds of yin and yang, there's an unwritten rule: when an evil ghost refuses to leave and an evil immortal won't submit, the male and female fiends are bound to show up.

She is the female fiend personally chosen by King Yama: stone-faced and taciturn, with a punch strong enough to smash the reinforced tiles of the underworld. He is the male fiend hired at the same time: quicker with his tongue than a blade, too weak to lift a chicken, yet able to talk a thousand-year-old fox spirit into turning himself in and kneeling in surrender.

The two went from living humans to ghost officers, then rose from ghost officers to become the top aces in both the yin and yang realms. In three years, they handled 137 cases, with no unsolved cases and no missed deadlines. Others relied on skill to solve cases. These two relied on one sharp tongue and one powerful fist.

An evil ghost refuses to leave? He talks, she pounds. A rogue immortal claims a mountain as his own? He placates, she twists his arm.

King Yama runs their operation from headquarters, dispatching assignments remotely. Their fellow ghost officers both respect and fear them. As for what exactly these two are to each other...

"I care about our points, which means I care about the fruits of our labor, which means I care about the foundation of our relationship."

Her ears turned red, but she wouldn't admit it.

They specialize in dealing with all kinds of defiance in the yin and yang realms.
