PVZ Horror Edition: Rebooting the Apocalypse

Yili, a genius researcher at the former Z Corporation, was reassigned to Harmony Town as a test subject after opposing the executives' plan to begin an immortality experiment at a company meeting. A flying elbow against the supernatural? I... Me?

Starting from scratch in Harmony Town, she faced a major crisis on her very first day.

Zombie survivors? So many of them? If we eat this meal, what about the next one? The zombie survivors: Yeah, what are we supposed to eat?

Though she stumbled along, at least she wasn't going hungry every other day. Now she needed to figure out how to fight the supernatural.

An endless tide of supernatural beings, a strange town, an incompetent military and corporation, Subject Zero, the keeper of the supernatural garden, and out-of-control experimental subjects came one after another. In the end, the person who would save the world was...

On the fiftieth day, Yili looked at the bloodstained diary on her desk and the yard full of supernatural plants beyond the blinds. She picked up her pen and wrote:

1. Never trust time. Harmony Town is not part of the reality I know.

2. Supernatural beings cannot die. No matter how many you kill in a day, once midnight passes, they all come back to life.

3. Harmony Town is giving birth to an inner world. The source of the supernatural will appear only after that world is fully formed.

4. The victory claimed by the military and the corporation is nothing more than a seal blocking the path of the supernatural invasion.

5. Do not read this notebook. The moment you become aware of the source of the supernatural, you will become one of them.
