The Soul-Taming Office of Jianmu

The Jianmu tree was severed three thousand years ago. Heaven lost contact, the underworld fell into chaos, and the seals on myths around the globe shattered all at once. Nezha was ordered to suppress demons, Yang Jian was ordered to investigate the gods, while Sun Wukong became Heaven's most wanted fugitive.

As the demon kings of China, vengeful spirits of Japan, ancient vampires of Europe, giants of the North, savage spirits of the Americas, and armies of the Egyptian underworld awoke one after another, the mortal world became the final battleground over which the gods contended.

Yet it wasn't demons and monsters that would truly destroy the world.

It was a name the gods had erased from history long ago.
