I Was Forty-Six the Year I Lost My Job, So I Returned to the Northern Frontier to Build a Town

At forty-six, bankrupt, in debt, and barred from high-consumption spending, Zhao Ye was driven to the brink.

He returned to the forgotten old town of Songzhen in Northeast China.

The Northern Wilderness Spirit Nexus appeared. It offered no sudden riches, only the vitality of the mountains and forests: stirring plants to sprout and drawing all living things back to the woods.

Relying on the Spirit Nexus's illusionary realm, he created unique experiences where visitors could immerse themselves in Northern Wilderness shamanic customs and scenes of traditional fishing and hunting, building a distinctive tourism industry in the forest region.

Entangled in human relationships, with capitalists watching like hungry tigers.

In the barren Northern Wilderness, with the forest sea at his side,

watch as a middle-aged man who has hit rock bottom builds a bustling new town with his own hands!
