What? Every Simulation Gives Me a Different Template?

(The simulator is a secondary element and won't take up much of the story, but it will tie into the main plot. There will be either one female lead or none. The romance is understated, but the protagonist's childhood friend has a strong presence. He's not the sharpest tool in the shed.)

Ten thousand years ago, spiritual qi revival began, and humanity started practicing martial arts, using them to vie for supremacy across the stars.

Today, ten thousand years later, humanity has become one of the universe's hegemonic powers, its territory spanning countless star systems.

Well, humanity's already this powerful, so why should I keep working hard?

Thinking this, Ye Chuan decided to lie flat.

"You're an ordinary person. Why don't you bow when you see me, a martial artist?"

Ye Chuan: ...

Well, it seems there's plenty of infighting within humanity, too.

I really don't want things to come to this...

Ye Chuan decided it was time for this salted fish to turn his life around.
