Incense for Heaven and Earth

A single incense burner illuminates the countless obsessions of the world.

The rise and fall of human affairs, the waxing and waning of yin and yang, all are bound by the force of cause and effect.

When incense rises, it soothes wandering, lonely souls;

when incense fades, it guides lost hearts through the mortal world.

Heaven and earth are impartial, but human hearts are full of divides.

The true meaning of cultivation lies not in mystical arts or supernatural powers, but in keeping true to oneself, knowing one's limits, following the seasons, and respecting all living things.

Amid the rising wisps of incense, one may observe the mountains and rivers, all living beings, and oneself.
