Great Sage: Before the Tears Run Dry

Sun Wukong had been pinned beneath Five Elements Mountain for five hundred years. There was nothing the heavens hadn't thrown down at him. Then one winter, a tear struck his face. It was hot.

In the tear, he saw a young woman: Daiyu of the Rongguo Mansion. She thought she was crying for someone else, but not one tear went to waste. Every last one fell on his head. Those tears had been meant for him all along.

But her fate was written in Heaven's ledger in just four words: When the tears run dry, she dies.

He could not stand by and watch. He picked the words written beside her name from the ledger, one by one. When they would not come loose, he overturned the whole ledger.
