Hong Kong Crossover: Building Hollywood in Hong Kong

The Atlantic wind carries the briny tang of Long Island's sea into the Feng family's estate on New York's Long Island.

After three lifetimes of ups and downs, Feng Anyu is reborn as the youngest son of a top-tier dynasty. His grandfather tells him, "Spend whatever you like. If anything happens, the family will handle it."

In Hong Kong, the old empire of money is on the verge of collapse, and he will set the rules of the new order.

He returns to Hong Kong with four family retainers, intending to do just two things: build an Oriental Hollywood in Sai Wan called Qingqiu Xu, and settle the blood debt owed to his master, Bruce Lee, by Golden Harvest.

And so, the British-owned Hongkong Land hands over its property, local Chinese tycoons bow their heads and line up, and Golden Harvest's four bosses fall one after another in a string of "accidents." Even the police force tacitly closes the case files.

The tide of a great era rolls in. In the autumn of 1973, he plants the Qingqiu Xu sign above Victoria Harbour, standing amid gold as far as the eye can see. Then he dusts off his hands and boards a flight back to Columbia to pursue his doctorate.

See how Feng Anyu takes Hong Kong by storm and builds a family legend no one dares to challenge.
