Records of the Survivors

After dying, beings from different eras and worlds are drawn by a higher-dimensional existence into a "game" it created. When new players enter for the first time, they all encounter an indescribable entity. The "Elders" call it the Host. The Host promises that whoever reaches the Final Anchor will be able to obtain anything they desire, or learn anything they wish to know.
