Ten Thousand Years of the Great Ming

In the Jia Shen year of the Chongzhen reign, just as the emperor is about to take his own life at Coal Hill, a soul from another world enters his body. The emperor abandons his foolish resolve to die for his country, casts off his old stubbornness and suspicion, and slips out of the capital with his loyal servants and devoted followers, heading south to the secondary capital. He quells the rebel forces within and repels the northern invaders without, purges corruption from the court, and carries out reforms. As the empire crumbles in turbulent times, he turns the tide of China's fortunes and rebuilds the vast lands of the Great Ming.
