I Found a Gluttonous Snake Sword in a Xianxia Drama

The grand finale: the immortal sect saves the world, and the lights of countless homes shine bright.

Shen Yan transmigrated into the story only to discover that he himself was the wick.

He was still tied to the altar, yet the story had already declared its happy ending.

He refused to accept that ending.

Fortunately, he had a gluttonous snake sword that could find food by itself.

Spirit stones, magical treasures, monsters, it ate them all. Even broken plotlines and settings that couldn't be made to fit again could be bitten off and swallowed.

With every piece of the story it devoured, the sword grew by one segment.

As for the mess left behind by those storylines, that was Shen Yan's problem.

But when this story ended, there was another one waiting.

Each time he entered a story, he had to take over a different body. The Host's temperament could help him survive, but it could also lead him to make choices he'd regret afterward. Some tempers were impossible to shake, even after leaving the body behind.

Shen Yan had to remember who he was, and find his way home.

And in all these stories, the same unseen person always left traces behind.

The snake sword recognized him.

It seemed to have been waiting a very long time to eat him.
