From Peking University's Freshman Cup to GOAT

The day Zhou Ding got into Peking University, his dad asked him, "What do you want to do in the future?"

Zhou Ding said, "Work in economics."

His dad looked at his six-foot-seven frame and said nothing.

In his sophomore year, he transferred to a university in the United States.

His dad asked, "You're going to study economics in America?"

Zhou Ding said, "Play basketball."

His dad looked at his six-foot-seven frame again and still said nothing.

Later, his dad saw him win an NBA championship on TV.

The commentator said, "Zhou Ding, from China, a dropout from Peking University's School of Economics."

His dad turned to Zhou Ding's mom and asked, "What does dropout mean?"

She said, "It means he didn't graduate."
