Scraping by in the World After Death

Can death really put an end to everything?

Cen Xi used to think so.

Until he discovered that even after dying, he could still go on living.

He was missing from photographs, yet another version of himself appeared in the records.

To figure out what was going on, he set out with a mysterious crow, entering one world after another that had already perished, yet continued to run.

They were known as "Tower Mounds."

Each Tower Mound had its own rules, and concealed secrets that should never have existed.

When a worker ID badge numbered seventeen and engraved with his surname appeared, Cen Xi finally realized that all he wanted was to stay alive, but this world seemed to have arranged a different ending for him long ago.
