A Discarded Servant with a Broken Meridian: The Dead Beneath the Pit Beg Me for Help

Lu Jin was born with crippled meridians and was the lowest-ranking servant in the Qingming Sect, worth less than a demonic beast. Framed by his fellow disciples for stealing medicine, he was kicked into the Soul-Nurturing Abyss. He thought he was as good as dead.

But the bottom of the abyss was not silent. Among thousands of wronged corpses, their lingering souls had yet to fade. They were all waiting for someone who could "hear" them. And Lu Jin could hear them.

Uncle Sang asked him to return to the mountain sect and check on his young master. A boy asked him to avenge his father. A mother asked him to find her missing son. Lu Jin agreed to each request. Every time he fulfilled one, the soul's remaining spiritual power flowed into his body, and meridians began to grow in his crippled channels.

He fulfilled the dead people's wishes, and the dead paved the way for him. But each lingering soul he took on left him with a fragment of its memories. The more he heard, the more afraid he became that one day, the person in the mirror would no longer be Lu Jin.
