Tokyo: The Shrine Revival Plan of a Shrine Maiden

A reborn Chinese noblewoman in Japan, she is treated by her family as a bargaining chip for an advantageous marriage.

After becoming a girl, Saionji Chiho absolutely refuses to accept being married off. She packs her bags and flees the family estate in the middle of the night, seeking refuge with her grandmother in Kanazawa.

Her grandmother runs a deserted shrine all by herself, so Chiho naturally becomes its shrine maiden while staying there.

At first, Chiho only wants to keep her head down until she comes of age. But as she serves as a shrine maiden, she gradually realizes that something is wrong with this world.

The appearance of the Shrine Revitalization System only strengthens her conviction.

Soon, earthbound spirits and tsukumogami, monsters that should exist only in books, begin appearing in Chiho's life.

Even the legendary Tamamo-no-Mae is discovered living in seclusion in a bustling city.

And so Chiho's daily life as a shrine maiden changes from sweeping and promoting the shrine to exorcising spirits and helping them find peace.

With Chiho, an exorcist shrine maiden, keeping watch,

the once-dilapidated shrine grows busier by the day and is restored to its former glory.

That is, until her father arrives at the shrine in a Maybach.
