Defying Heaven to Guard the Moon

A glorious cycle spanning a hundred thousand years was nothing but a martyrdom scam woven by the Heavenly Dao.

Generation after generation, the Moon Guardians gave their lives to suppress the uncanny, mend the heavens, and protect the world. In the end, they vanished without a name and were vilified for ages, becoming sacrificial offerings to prolong the Heavenly Dao's life.

Ye Yanci, the last Moon Guardian, was destined to repeat the age-old fate of martyrdom. But after a strange accident in his childhood, he obtained the one and only defiant fate bone in all creation, a gift beyond the world's limits.

Protecting all living beings was a choice of his own heart; defying the Heavenly Dao was a heaven-sent exception.

With compassion for all ages, he guarded the mortal world. Wielding his defiant bone, he fought the unjust Heavenly Dao and brought an end to a hundred thousand years of martyrdom!
