Honest Farming Is Pretty Boring, Isn't It?

[Medieval, Multiple Races, Lordly Farming...]

“As a lord, it is your duty to pacify your subjects, cultivate wastelands, take in refugees, repel foreign races, and defend the borders. Gradually expand your territory until it becomes a cornerstone of the empire!”

The empire’s great nobles often warned lords to manage their territories prudently.

But after a stroke of luck gave him a barren territory, Ian did exactly the opposite.

Farming honestly is way too boring!

How many years would it take to grow into a great lord that way?

In Ian’s view, the right way for a lord to farm was to:

Take out loans and leverage up, help his subjects do the same, stir up disputes between neighboring territories, siphon off their populations, collude with foreign powers, throw the empire’s borders into chaos, and become the empire’s greatest thorn in its side!
