I Am Recycling Foreshadowing in the World of Cultivating Immortals

The Dali Dynasty in the 18th year of Jiahe did not have this year. In the history books, the winter of the 17th year of Jiahe jumped directly to the spring of the 19th year. No one in the country felt strange - because all the cause and effect of that year had been torn out of the world. Shen Shiyi is a virtuous apprentice who has no spiritual roots, no background, and no ambition. His biggest wish in life is to save enough money to open a pawn shop. Until one rainy night, a dead woman came to serve as a sword that could not be unsheathed, and a voice claiming to be a "narrator" appeared in his mind: [The sword has been in its sheath for thirty-seven years, waiting for someone to draw it. From then on, he saw another side of the world: a promise that was not fulfilled, an old case that no one pursued, a page of history that no one dared to write—all were "foreshadowings." If no one recycles the foreshadowing, it will ferment into disaster within seven days; those who recycle the foreshadowing can realize the cause and effect and reach the sky in one step. Others entered the secret realm to seize heavenly materials and treasures, while Shen Yi squatted in the ruins of the City God's Temple to dig up a burnt tablet. The world laughs at him for picking up rags, but only he knows that the most valuable things in this city are all things that no one wants. Until one day, he heard that everyone in the city was connected to a thread, and he was tied to the other end of the thread. [The main plot opens: The missing year of Jiahe's eighteenth year disappeared because of you.
