The Five Elements Are Not Yet Complete

At Qinglan Sect, everyone calls Lu Chen a good-for-nothing. He has a mixed Five Elements spiritual root, and after four years of hard cultivation, he still can't manage even the most basic step of drawing qi into his body. During a spiritual aptitude test, the long-dormant test stone unexpectedly cracked, and a wisp of gray light slipped quietly into his palm, unnoticed by anyone. From then on, medicinal fields withered, spiritual veins changed, and long-buried secrets began to surface one after another. Relying on his knowledge of medicinal herbs and his refusal to give up, Lu Chen sets out from the ranks of the sect's menial disciples to find his own path of cultivation. Meanwhile, Shen Zhaoxue, born into a declining clan, is investigating an old pact closely tied to Lu Chen. From an accidental meeting to joining forces to break through one crisis after another, the two gradually uncover the truth behind the Five Elements spiritual root amid sect rivalries and turmoil across the Nine Provinces. This is a tale of a supposedly talentless young man growing step by step and seeking the Dao alongside his companions. Is talent a destiny one is born with, or a path carved out through hardship?
