Life on the Immortal Mountain

A man who no longer sought immortality settled down at the foot of a mountain, then personally sent his three children onto the path of cultivation. When Wang Maosheng was nineteen, he returned to his village from Qingcen Sect. In eleven years, he had only reached the second level of Qi Refining, and he had even harmed a fellow villager over a pill. Now he had given up cultivation. He would have to repay what he owed, little by little. He farmed and raised poultry in Longwangshu Village. Later, he married Luo Xiulan, a cloth seller. Once he had a little more money to spare, he started buying all sorts of beautiful, rare plants and herbs to grow himself. As his three children gradually grew up, he found more and more things he could not bear to leave behind. Whenever someone urged him to return to the mountains and cultivate, he simply said he would not. Who could have guessed that his two sons and young daughter would each find their own immortal opportunities? He was happier than anyone and told everyone he met. But life is never all smooth roads. In any case, this is the story of a man who no longer yearned for cultivation and tried to find a peaceful way to bring his life to a close.
