The 120-Day Godmaking Plan

Mysterious golden fragments descended upon the world, granting supernatural abilities to some people while erasing the rest of humanity. Every day, a city begins counting down. When the countdown ends, the city crumbles into ruin, and monsters carrying golden fragments emerge from the wreckage. Will the remaining humans use their abilities to band together and survive, or will they slaughter one another to steal each other's fragments and become gods?
