I’m a Spaceport Dispatcher Who Can See the Future

In the age of neural-synchronized mechs, talent determines everything. Liu Muxing, a thirty-year-old starport dispatcher, is just another ordinary grain of sand caught up in the tide. After awakening “Precognition,” he sees a glimpse of his future for the first time: he’s no genius or hero, just someone who repeatedly gets one step ahead in desperate situations and shields those behind him from the storm. From being mocked for not knowing how to pilot a mech to standing at the very front of the battlefield; from saving a starport to seeing six billion people off. The people he saved erect a monument in his honor. He buries other people’s monuments. Then he returns to the fields and teaches a timid child how to pilot a mech. He never learns where “Precognition” came from. He only knows that in this life, he never failed to step up when the moment called for it.
