The Torch Dragon of the Late Ming

Shen Yan was one of the lead engineers behind the 2055 neural-implant AI project, Candle Dragon, responsible for its human-computer interaction and reasoning engine modules. During the first human self-implantation experiment, the anti-AI extremist group "Purifiers" attacked the lab. The Candle Dragon System overloaded, triggering a massive electromagnetic explosion. Shen Yan's consciousness, along with Candle Dragon's offline core, transmigrated to the body of a salt merchant's son in Yangzhou during the fifteenth year of the Chongzhen reign of the Ming dynasty (1642). The young man's name was also Shen Yan. Come enjoy the comedic bickering between Shen Yan and Candle Dragon, the farcical struggle to adapt to life in the Ming dynasty, and their efforts to defend Yangzhou and prevent history from repeating itself.
