Ashen Wheel, Prison of Ruins

Across countless Ruin Domains, the cycle of reincarnation never ends. The entire Ruin Ring is a vast prison built by the Ruin Lord with his own hands. Living beings are reborn again and again, their fates written in advance and ruthlessly harvested throughout each cycle. Lu Jin is one of the few survivors to endure more than eight hundred cycles. In every life, his soul power remains stagnant, leaving him a useless spirit-laggard who suffers the scorn of others. His engagement is torn apart in public, he is forced to swear a humiliating hundred-day death pact, and he repeatedly meets his end in desperate situations. Death washes away his memories, but the resentment buried deep in his bones remains forever branded on his soul. A new cycle begins, and fate plays out once more. Just as he nears despair, the ancient corroded pendant on his chest suddenly awakens. The remnant soul of Wen Zhi, a survivor from the previous generation, appears and passes down the one-of-a-kind forbidden art, the Corrosion and Cinder Scripture. Lu Jin can devour the Ruin Ashes formed from the souls of the dead and venture into one perilous secret dungeon after another. The silent Sand Ruins hide countless dangers, eerie shadows teem in the Sealed Academy, and every step through the seven Ruin Domains is fraught with peril. The sinister-scaled Ruin Lord joins him, while a girl bearing a strange cursed mark fights by his side. The pursuers of the Corrosion Trace Hall are hot on his heels, while the Ruin Lord watches the game of all living beings with cold eyes. Others can only cling to the dungeon rules and struggle to survive. Drawing on the experience he has gained through hundreds and thousands of deaths, Lu Jin keeps widening the deviation from the cycle and rewriting the ending that was set in stone. The hundred-day pact: shatter their mockery. Perilous trials: rise against the odds. He will rescue his mentor, trapped in a desperate predicament, rally everyone who refuses to submit, and gather all seven portions of Ruin Ashes. With the flames of countless unyielding wills, he will burn through the shackles of reincarnation. The cage cannot confine his resolve, and death cannot change his path. In this life, Lu Jin resolves to fight back, overthrow the Ruin Lord with his own hands, and end the endless cycle of reincarnation!
