Reborn in 1975: Starting by Earning Work Points

Northeastern Yunnan, 1975. Chen Xing opens his eyes to find himself back in a production brigade where there is never enough to eat. Work points are scarce, relatives are mean, and the family pantry is bare. He has gained decades' worth of memories of the future, but dares not let anyone know. All he can do is keep his head down, earn enough food, and sneak in a little reading. When the college entrance exams resume in 1977, he seizes his chance to leave farming behind. He goes to the city to study, then works his way up through small repairs and tiny workshops, one step at a time, riding the tide of the times. No pocket dimension, no System, just a man who has known hardship and knows the way forward.
