Tales of the Strange from the Nineties

My name is Zhou Huaian. I'm a technician at the computer center of a state-owned factory in the 1990s. I always thought my life would be simple: hold on to my iron rice bowl, get married and have children, then work at the factory until retirement. That would be that. Until my father died. After returning from the funeral, I started having the same dream over and over. I woke up in the middle of the night, soaked through, with the fishy taste of lake water in my mouth. But I live on the fourth floor.
