Making a Living in the City

Making a Living on City Lights and Warmth Lin Shen is a decisive corporate mergers and acquisitions expert, while Gu Qing is an inheritor of local intangible cultural heritage. They cross paths in a clash between capital and passion. Initially at odds and unwilling to give an inch, they are forced to join forces to build a neighborhood project centered on a new wave of Chinese style. In this city of steel and concrete, they try to find the warmth of a slower life amid the fast pace of business. Lin Shen learns to see the human warmth beyond the data, while Gu Qing finds a balance between tradition and modernity under the pressure of reality. Beneath their fierce rivalry lie clashing ideals and a profound connection between their souls. As their entanglement of interests gradually falls away, all that remains is the city lights reflected in each other's eyes. This is not merely a battle over wealth, but a redefinition of the essence of urban life. They stand side by side amid the bustle, witness each other's growth in the little things, and ultimately, deep in the heart of the city's splendor, earn the simple warmth that touches ordinary people's hearts.
