The Age of Creation

This is a period-spanning story about building a business. The protagonist starts out as an apprentice in 1970, and the story concludes with Hong Kong's return to China in 1997. It covers four fields of technology: agricultural machinery, auto parts, electronics, and communications, all grounded in real technology. Spanning nearly thirty years, the story includes major historical milestones such as Reform and Opening Up and the establishment of a market economy. The protagonist is reserved and practical, never putting on airs or getting carried away. He earns his living through technology and builds his reputation through integrity.
