Warhammer: I Kill the Emperor from the Start, Loyalty in the IF Timeline

In the Warhammer universe, in the 41st millennium, the Emperor sits upon the Golden Throne. Over the long ages, he has foreseen countless possible futures. Most end in darkness. A few could, at best, be called “tolerable.” But one path has always lingered in his mind, turning over and over in his thoughts. On that path, humanity loses to the Men of Iron. It sounds like the end of the world. Yet to someone who has been steeped in despair for ten thousand years, might it be an interesting change? A world utterly shattered may not be worse than one barely clinging to life. The Emperor cannot help wondering: What would become of the world if he fell, if no one sat upon the Throne anymore? Then he reaches a calm conclusion: The world would keep turning. It has never stopped for anyone’s absence. Life always finds a way forward, even if that way leads somewhere he never imagined. At the end of what is called “hope,” countless parallel tributaries spread out. And one of them is slowly unfolding. It is the story of what happens after the Men of Iron win, in a parallel Warhammer universe.
