God of Wealth System: Heading East

(God of Wealth System + Reverse Journey to the West + Mythical Multiverse + Overseas Treasure Hunting + Spiritual Qi Revival + Power Fantasy + High-IQ Ensemble) In an age of spiritual qi revival, Zhu Qiao awakened the God of Wealth System on the day an algorithm wiped him out. He headed east from Europe, venturing into the worlds of wizards, Norse gods, vampires, Greek mythology, and countless other mythologies... Reversing the Journey to the West, he returned to the great Eastern nation, determined to forge a new path to deification! In just twenty-four hours, Zhu Qiao went from being a partner at a financial firm in the City of Fog to a pauper with only three pounds and seventy pence in his account, saddled with an £8 million joint guarantee. A failed leveraged bet, a bridge loan pulled out from under him, contracts binding him hand and foot. The people who set him up didn’t even have to show their faces. They just waited for him to walk into the trap. On a rainy night, an old scale weight, written off as scrap metal, cut into his hand. The moment his blood touched it, he gained eyes that could see the “true value” of everything. In the West, Eastern national treasures were sold off as cheap souvenirs, while an old wooden box bought for three pounds concealed ancient jade worth thousands. Those eyes also revealed the truth: the black lines on the seven contracts ensnaring him all converged on the same glass tower. He hadn’t lost to the market. He’d been set up. Starting at an underground market in the City of Fog, he was led ever eastward, gathering companions and collecting five ancient ritual treasures as he retraced the Journey to the West in reverse, from the City of Fog through Europe and Southeast Asia, all the way to the East. As quantitative finance locks the world’s wealth inside algorithms, this wiped-out businessman will use Eastern wisdom about wealth to set up a new scale for a world that’s been plundered.
