Every Step, Every Pause

On an old street in Hanan City stands a music shop called String Echo Studio. Its owner, Zan Tingxian, is a nineteen-year-old college student with a secret: by playing an instrument, he can enter other people's regrets and rewrite the music in their memories, turning imperfect stories into the most beautiful versions of themselves. His customers come from all walks of life: students who skip school, scruffy middle-aged men, and senile old people. As the music plays, their wishes of “If only things had gone differently...” gradually become reality. He thinks that's all there is to it: taking care of his younger sister, going to college, and running the shop. But he doesn't know that what he sees is not quite the whole world.
