When Terror Returns, I Wield a Ghostly Pencil

Ghosts cannot be killed, but they can be contained. Only ghosts can fight ghosts. Ordinary people can survive by figuring out the rules behind a ghost’s killings. Xu Mingyi, an agent in Dajiang City, repeatedly doodles in a worn, yellowed sketchbook with an old, blackened pencil. The sketchbook contains evil spirits, and any ghost drawn with the pencil will hunt indiscriminately within the pages. After one incident after another, Xu Mingyi gradually realizes that sometimes people are more terrifying than ghosts. An invasion by foreign forces brings the conflicts between people to a head, making a great war inevitable. Only once the dust has settled will the survivors be able to consider how to end this desperate age.
