1586: U.S. Forces in Japan

In a fantasy world, the protagonist Xiang Yang is punished for doing good deeds and unexpectedly gains the ability to transmigrate between different worlds. The first world is Japan in 1586. The local people would never imagine that their country's shogun is actually a handsome man. The missions he receives differ from world to world, and the more incompetent the ruler, the stronger he becomes. At first, Xiang Yang only asks the cook to make tofu that won't break if dropped and a whole chicken with no bones. Later, he moves on to all kinds of things: landscaping gardens, staging a beacon-fire farce to fool the feudal lords, and indulging in wine and women... The people of Japan might even end up living as well as Americans. History, romance, wuxia, fantasy, urban sci-fi, and more. (For now, I only have five worlds in mind.) Eventually, the story will cover pretty much every genre. The protagonist has parents. During the urban arc, he'll return home to spend the rest of their lives with them before setting out on his journey again.
