The Whole World Lives Inside Me

Zhao Yuchen only wants to settle into a permanent job and save up for the car he likes. That is, until he goes camping by the lake on Mid-Autumn Festival night and discovers that every night at midnight, the world takes a different breath. Something slips in while people sleep, steals their lifespans and memories, then comes back wearing their faces, smiling as it calls them brother. When he realizes that his closest childhood friend has long since stopped being human, he finally understands that this body of his, the one that supposedly just needs a good night's sleep, is the source of it all. A nobody takes up his blade to give his brother a final, merciful end.
