Reborn in 2010: My Golden Decade

(A healing everyday story set in a bygone era, about making money and starting a business in a small county town)

By middle age, Yang Cheng's marriage is a complete mess, his investments have failed disastrously, and life has worn away all his edges.

Looking back on his life, Yang Cheng is filled with regret: he never got to see his grandmother one last time; his father is plagued by lung disease; his mother would rather suffer than seek medical care; and he has spent his whole life living for other people.

After an accident, he returns to 2010, to a small county town in northern China.

He still has his old Nokia in his pocket. The song "Love's Transaction" is playing by the roadside, the heating stove in his old house is covered in rust, and his parents are still healthy.

He knows better than anyone that the golden decade beginning in 2010 is the last wave of wealth creation he can catch. Once those ten years are over, the windows of opportunity across every industry will close, and ordinary people will have little chance of turning their lives around.

Seize the gaps in the times, earn his first fortune, renovate the old house, and protect his family.

He doesn't need to be rich and powerful. He only wants to live for himself for once, with no regrets.
