Chen Xiaoxi encounters a ghost in Huanghua Village and becomes its vessel, gaining all the abilities of a water ghost. He goes on to acquire the powers of an Embroidered Shoe, a Ghost Bride, a Weeping Ghost, a Scholar Ghost, and a Deceiver Ghost, before finally killing the god who controls the world.
