The spiritual tide descended, and everything in the world began to change. Spiritual veins emerged from the earth, strange beasts burst forth from the ground, and the old order came crashing down. Some humans awakened to new powers after being baptized by the spiritual tide. They came to be known as Awakened Ones. Power brought hope, but it also bred endless slaughter.
