Forces, matter, life, cosmic voids, even entire worlds, all exist in spherical form. They touch, collide, and react with one another. To the vast world, this is commonplace, but to humanity, living on a tiny sphere whose place in the hierarchy is unknown, every such contact is a natural disaster. The fragile sphere carrying the solar system is sailing into a sea of spheres made up of endless worlds. Before any “dispute” can arise between the voids in this universe, another “sphere” (Brane) from beyond it arrives first, “colliding” with ours. The collision is far gentler than anyone could imagine. To the dimensions, it lasts no more than the snap of a finger; to humanity, it stretches on endlessly. There is no world-shattering destruction, only gradual change. The world persists, yet has already become unrecognizable without anyone noticing...
