1,400 meters below the far side of the moon, Shen Zhuo drills through a wall that does not belong to humanity. Beyond it are emotional specimens preserved for ten thousand years, and a group of Watchers who erased every emotion, yet wish to learn how to feel pain again. They do not want to conquer Earth. They only want to ask a living person to teach them. Shen Zhuo's answer is to shut the door.
