The Grand Sui's Long Song

This work is the original, research-based epic historical novel The Great Sui Ballad. 1. Purpose: With the rise and fall of the Sui Dynasty as its central narrative, the novel explores the historical lesson that founding a state is difficult, but preserving it is no less so. It delves into the humanistic beauty of Sui-era architecture, painting and calligraphy, and exchanges between China and other countries. Through historical stories, it aims to inspire young readers to reflect on the challenges of growing up, while also offering cultural and tourism value. As part of a series, it follows The First Emperor's Ballad and lays the groundwork for The Great Tang Ballad. 2. Creative process: I independently developed the outline and character profiles, consulted official histories and other historical sources for background, and wrote the book chapter by chapter on a computer. The completed work comprises six volumes and sixty-three chapters. After finishing the manuscript, I repeatedly checked the historical details and unified the style before preparing the final draft. 3. Originality statement: This work was independently created by me. Its narrative, character development, and structure are all original, and it does not plagiarize or copy any other work.
