Pokemon: Beneath the Red Mist

After waking up, Lin Mo finds himself in the Pokemon world, in the fifth year of the Red Mist disaster. Cities have become ruins, Gyms have shut down, and familiar companions have turned into mutated creatures that pounce on Trainers. He has no Starter Pokémon, only a stingy lottery System: Gible, Torchic, and a Shiny Slakoth that works five days and rests two. He also has an ability he must never reveal: purifying mutations. The truth behind the disaster is buried in Professor Oak's lab, Giovanni's safe, and a rampaging Mewtwo MK-II. He wants to go home, but more than that, he wants to know: why was he the one who got thrown into this world?
