Unregistered in the Mortal World

The ties that bind people to this world turn into worldly attachment. Dynasties gather it into the fortunes of the state, while immortals draw upon it in their quest for eternal life. A single register records who is sheltered by the mountains and rivers, and who the land can call upon to repay it. Xie Zhideng wants to learn how to make his way in the world. He wants to see the distant lands with the person he loves, and to know that no matter how far he travels, he will still have a home to return to.
