Peninsula: Starting Out as ITZY's Producer

In 2021, Seo Yeon-woo returns to Korea after taking a leave of absence from Berkeley, bringing with him a co-production credit on a Billboard Top 10 song. He signs with JYP. All he wants at first is to make his first K-pop song well. But the first project to enter the actual production process is ITZY. And to make matters worse, the person standing in the practice room, painstakingly going over the choreography again and again, now the leader of a girl group, is the childhood friend he's known for as long as he can remember. Starting with a B-side, Seo Yeon-woo gradually enters the real K-pop production scene. ITZY, (G)I-DLE, aespa, IVE... Songwriting, recording, comebacks, music show promotions, year-end stages. He starts writing songs for more and more people, and finally steps out from behind the scenes and onto the stage. Only later does Seo Yeon-woo realize that a question harder than how to write a song is this: Some relationships, it seems, have quietly drifted off course without anyone noticing.
