I took shelter from a torrential downpour in an old inn, never expecting that I would never return to my old life. To get home, I started figuring out how to make money, learning to use guns, and volunteering to help people deal with trouble. The jobs grew more and more dangerous, the pay kept climbing, and the weapons in my hands grew more and more outrageous. Until I discovered something troubling. If I want to go home, I first have to settle the debts this world has left unpaid.
