Doomsday Debt

The apocalypse arrives, and everyone's senses are randomly wiped and reassigned. You never know whose dinner you'll taste when you wake up tomorrow, or whose pain you'll bear. Chen Mo is an actuary at the Sensory Bank, but he never expected the product he designed himself to go out of control. Chen Mo is chosen by the System to be a Sensory Debt Collector. Forced to shoulder the debts of an entire city, every time he uses his senses to help someone, his own balance is automatically deducted. Even more deadly, a being known as the Tuner has disassembled itself into pure frequencies and embedded itself in the sensory network spanning the city, bearing everyone's pain alone. It plans to cleanse the world with Absolute Calm, turning every survivor into a living corpse, free from both pain and joy.
