After the Particle Collision, I Heard Another Me

In 2126, a particle collision ripped open a passage between two worlds. On the antimatter side, the laws of nature are breaking down, and the sky is gold. When I woke up, there was another voice in my head. The same name, the same face, the same father. One of us is a numb contract worker, the other a cool-headed seeker of the Dao. We share one body, yet walk two paths toward destruction. He says, “If this goes on, we'll both die.” Both worlds are looking for me. The Boundary Guardians want me dead, the corporations want my body, and a madman from the other world wants my soul. They call me a “Dual-World Resonance Body.” It sounds like something important. But I'm just a mechanic. I only want to find out one thing: my dad died five years ago, but how exactly did he die? So first, I have to survive. Then, save both worlds. But nobody told me this: The person who saves both worlds will become the passage between them. From then on, I'll be able to see every light on either side, but I'll never be able to leave.
