Qingwu Proves the Dao

The Great Jing Dynasty, during the Yong'an era. A Devour-the-Heavens plague suddenly breaks out in the southern borderlands. Shen Yan, an orphan raised by a hunter and a survivor of the plague, bears the death-root of plague fiends and inherits the remnants of an ancient Way of grass and trees. Cultivating through a broken Way, he walks an unorthodox path of defying heaven, seeking life in death and finding the Way amid baleful forces.
