The apocalypse came, and civilization collapsed. A meteorite fragment carrying an extraterrestrial virus was accidentally discovered. After an accident spread the virus into human society, it took just one month for cities to become ruins crawling with corpses. Zombies lurked among the wreckage, waiting for their chance to strike. Some even developed intelligence, staking out territory as their own kingdoms and leading countless zombies in hunts for humans. For humanity, death was never far away. No superpowers, no System. In the world after the disaster, all that remained was scarce supplies, a collapsed social order, and the evil lurking deep in people’s hearts… Li Chengfeng was a young drifter in Hangzhou who had never amounted to anything. Raised in an orphanage, he had graduated only to drift through Hangcheng like a rootless duckweed. Then the apocalypse completely upended his monotonous life. In this post-apocalyptic world, the bloodlust of zombies was matched only by the threat posed by other survivors. The struggle for survival was reshaping the entire world: scavenger crews, survivor settlements, and bandits who lived by raiding were everywhere. As evil continued to take root beneath the ruins, survivors adapted or perished, enduring one brutal culling after another. Staying alive… became the only thing that mattered in the wasteland.
