The Song of Ithias

In the year 2970 after the Rift, calamity once again consumes the continent of Itias, as ancient secrets and age-old racial grudges quietly awaken. The exiled wanderer Toa Sithear carries the blood of humans, half-elves, and the Abyss, and is also descended from the commander of a thousand-year-old coalition army. Yet he lost his home as a child and has been shunned by both society and the Church. By chance, he saves Karen, an Abyssal sorcerer framed for a crime, and is branded a fugitive, forced to flee. Along the way, he joins forces with Lia, an elven apprentice seeking the life-giving power of the Sacred Tree. His bloodline powers begin to awaken, and he catches a glimpse of the truth behind history's falsification. As they travel among the continent's many peoples and factions, they expose a conspiracy within the Church's extremist faction and confront the apocalyptic threats of a tide of undead and the Rift's expansion. Toa breaks free of the fate imposed by his bloodline and the shackles of hatred. Rejecting the shortcut of saving the world through brute force, he works to mediate the conflicts among the races and forge a new alliance, hoping that ordinary people can find a way for the ravaged continent to live together and be reborn.
