The Illusory True God Lord: Beginning with Reflections in the Water and Moon

This great world is called Haoxuan. Above it hang layer upon layer of heavens; below, it reaches the Ninefold Netherworld. The forces of Heaven and Earth clash, while the mortal world turns through endless upheavals. Grotto-heavens and blessed lands, hidden realms and divine kingdoms, sacred mountains and Daoist sanctuaries, Buddhist pure lands and demonic domains... it has them all. Countless legacies have been passed down across the world, varied and intricate, yet none stray from the central source. Every path of cultivation has its roots in Haotian primordial qi, and every realm aspires to the Great Luo Heaven. I defied the flow of time and came from the future, bearing the divine gift of the Moon in Water and Flowers in the Mirror. I seek only to attain the immortal work of Great Luo and realize the Dao fruit of truth and illusion. The moon beneath the water and the flowers before the mirror are but dreamlike bubbles, illusory tricks fabricated by the mind. And yet, the vast physical body gathers qi, while the spirit and soul respond to the heart. If fabricated phantoms can stir the divine radiance of the emotions and draw in and refine the life-qi of all things, can they cross boundless fantasy and unite both ends of truth and illusion? A thousand gold in beauty and grace, envied by the village girls: I give you a lovely face and jade-like features, reshaping your skin, bones, and flesh. Put the beauty and ugliness of body and mind to the test. The Shen family falls into decline, and a wastrel remains lost in obsession. I conjure a great dream, an old tale from The Story of the Stone. When you awaken, all is desolate and heartrending. How can one speak of the chill of autumn? The Red Revolution sweeps through the Great Evolution, and dawn breaks in the East. With one heart and one purpose, we march together, returning with armored steeds and spears of war. The western mountains glow red as the great sun sets. Who knows the hardship of enduring cold and heat? Today, we begin anew and reclaim the land once more. The Three Pure Ones established their teachings, and the Jade Emperor laid down his decrees. The universe is ruled by assembled immortals and gods. Eras rise and perish in cycles of rebirth, through immeasurable kalpas without end. Yet even such a universe remains the Great Void. It is not the true realm! When, in years to come, my Dao is complete and truth and illusion become one, I shall take the heavens as my mold and the myriad worlds as fuel, refining an eternal true realm, so that every living being throughout all ages, past and present, may attain the true self!
